GEL’s consulting arm has been set up with the primary objective of providing consultancy and advisory services, as well as turnkey solutions for generators, consumers, licensees, power trading companies, State Utilities and all other entities associated with the power sector in India. Our continuous interactions with various experts and policymakers in the sector, coupled with a strong resource base, enable us to offer real workable solutions to complex problems, benefiting the client enormously.

The key to buy or sell surplus power at the individual industry level would depend on the company’s ability to (1) structure the arrangements in a manner and form accepted in the market, (2) choose the best option for sale (Inter/Intra-state etc.) and identify an appropriate customer for the power to be sold.

We, at GEL, understand the current legal, regulatory and market dynamics involved in the structuring and the execution of this kind of a transaction. Whether it is a power generator having surplus capacity to sell; or a bulk consumer looking for options to reduce energy costs or simply looking for innovative solutions for meeting power needs; or a corporate requiring knowledge management, training and market information packages for key personnel, GEL can provide customised services that suit specific client requirements.
